Our client is an international betting, gaming and lottery company with its headquarters located in the United Kingdom.

The Business Challenge

Our client wanted a real-time on-line betting exchange application. The application needed to maintain the details of sporting events. The customers registered on the system should then be able to place bets against each other. The system was required to maintain accounts for each customer and the customers had to be able to deposit and withdraw money from their accounts using credit cards, debit cards, cheques or wire transfer. The nature of the business dictated that the system should be very robust. The customers who made use of the system would be predominantly Japanese, and so it meant that the site should be content managed in both English and Japanese.
