Our client is a leading UK based provider of Motor Warranties for motor traders, and of Contents & Building Insurance for let properties.

The Business Challenge

Our client wanted to sell its products over the Internet. They needed an E-Business Suite to be built, which would provide the ability for a quote to be generated on-line. The insurance schedule and certificate needed to be produced automatically and printed on-line by the customer. The rating and product pricing information needed to be maintained and updated at the time of rate review. A customer database needed to be maintained with up-to-date information and customers needed to be notified automatically when their policy was due for renewal.

The Zerone Solution

Zerone Consulting built an integrated on-line solution that took care of all aspects of insurance life cycle. The system provided facilities for generating a quote on-line. The Schedule and Insurance certificates could be produced automatically and printed on-line by the customer. The rating and product pricing information could be maintained and updated. A customer database was built and maintained with up-to-date information and customers were notified when their policies were due for renewal.

In addition, there were facilities to track traffic from affiliates and process commissions. Also, the visitor statistics were logged and it could be analysed to find where the traffic is coming from. These reports could be used to decide the best performing on-line advertisement plans.
