Regression Testing ensures that while enhancements and bug fixes are done for each new software release, no new quality problems were introduced. The regression testing is automated by using industry standard regression testing tools reducing the time and resources needed.

Our approach to achieve the desired result with Regression Testing;

Create a Regression Test Plan:

Test Plan identifies Focus Areas, Strategy, Test Entry and Exit Criteria. It also outlines Testing Prerequisites and Responsibilities

Create Test Cases:

Test Cases describe what to Test, Steps needed to test, Inputs and Expected Outputs. Test Cases used for Regression Testing will specifically cover the functionality addressed by the change and all components affected by the change. The Regression Test case also include the testing of the performance of the components and the application after the changes are done

Defect Tracking:

Defects are tracked systematically through defect tracking tools
